I was a late substitute for Susan and Ciaran's wedding, as Susan's brother Dave is a keen photographer and was going to do the wedding. The more he thought about the Church section in particular (low light, things moving quicky, no second chances) the less he liked it. So I agreed to photograph the Church and formal shots. The day was going so well that I stayed on and did some shots at the Castle too, which is always a pleasure. Jeremy and Louise laid on the usual warm Markree welcome and the grounds were looking beautiful. A special thanks to little Tadhg, who acted as my assistant all day. If he keeps the interest he has as a 5 year old, he's bound to be a photographer when he grows up.
Susan's sister and bridesmaid, Sarah, is getting married to Paulo next month in the idyllic UNESCO world heritage village of Sintra, north of Lisbon, so all the best to them. If they need a last minute change of photographer, I could be persuaded...
