Michelle & Paul

I had two weddings in beautiful country houses last weekend - the first close to home in Newcastle House in Longford and the next day I was back to Marlfield House in Gorey.

First up were Paul & Michelle, who took over Newcastle House for the day. I hadn't worked there before so was very happy find a house with great character which has been lovingly restored by its owners Joe & Suzanne Donovan. It originally belonged to the King-Harman family who have close associations with Boyle through Rockingham and King House.

This was a lovely laid-back affair, with everything happening in the House where the civil cermony was conducted. Champagne and strawberries were in plentiful supply and despite a few showers, the rain held off most of the day.

Apart from the beautiful bride of course, the star turn of the day was when Michelle & Paul's four dogs dropped in on the festivities and pose in the group photo. It was all too exciting for them though, so they're coming to Killaraght for a proper studio portrait.
