As the wintry conditions still prevail here, Alison and Conor are travelling around Central America on a long and adventurous honeymoon. There might not be too many internet cafés in San Pedro Sula or Léon, but maybe somewhere along the way they'll have a chance to sign in. It's a long way from snowy Dromahair and
Markree Castle during Christmas week.
Markree was recently named as Wedding Venue of the Year 2009 by
realweddings.ie, so congratulations to all involved on their success. As always, there was a great atmosphere in the
Castle, and the night was shaping up to be a good one as I was heading home.
